The GRcade Twitchcast Episode 36 – A Little Look Back at 2020!

This week on the GRcade Twitchcast your hosts are Corazon de Leon, Jenuall and Pedz.

This week the team of lovable rogues are looking back at the year that is 2020. They are looking back mainly at gaming news, other things may pop up briefly, but then chat goes back to gaming. The world is in a crazy place right now and has been all year and the thoughts are that talking about them here during us talking about our favourite games is the right place to talk about them at length, maybe and hopefully we can get a podcast together for more in-depth discussions about the world at large.

All of us who take part in the podcast and even those from GRcade in general hope you all enjoyed listening to the podcast this year, it's be a pleasure for us to do and we'll see you in what we all hope is a much better year in 2021.

The GRcade Twitchcast Episode 35 - A Little Look Back At the Xbox One

This week on the GRcade Twitchcast your hosts are Doom Spoon and Pedz.

Last week we talked about the PlayStation 4, so of course, we had to talk about the Xbox One this week. Both Doom and Pedz have an Xbox One and were able to talk about its life.

The chat didn't start directly on the Xbox One though, it in fact started with a chat about the Series-S and Series-X, not anything about how they played as neither had them, but just a little chat about what the views are of getting one early and the like.

When the conversation does get to the Life of the Xbox One, it starts similarly to the PS4 chat, how it started off, various games, and the conversation is ended with top 5 games and then a few questions from the viewers/listeners.

The GRcade Twitchcast Episode 34 - A Little Look Back At The PS4

This week on the GRcade Twitchcast your hosts are Pedz and Victor Mildew.

Well, the new generation of game consoles has just begun, it's literally been less than a month since the launches of the Xbox Series-X and Series-S from Microsoft and Sony's latest The PlayStation 5. Tonight Pedz and Victor tried their best to talk about the PlayStation 4 but as usual, they went of their usual tangents though they didn't stray to from the topic at hand.

A few things were talked about including the launch, various games and Victors 5 favourite PlayStation 4 games.

The PlayStation 5 was also talk about for a small portion of the episode, but there'll be more PlayStation 5 talk in the upcoming episode where the hosts will be looking to the future of the New Gen.

The GRcade Twitchcast Episode 33 - Doom Returns!

This Weeks episode Pedz is re-joined by the long-missed Doom Spoon and as well as Doom returning Corazon de Leon joins the Twitchcast about halfway in.

The discussion this week starts with catching up with Doom, and asking what his thoughts are on the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox S/X-Series, the reveals and the games that have been shown, Corazon turns up about half-way through this conversation and also shares thoughts on them too.

Amazon Luna is another topic that's talked about and Game Streaming in general, what's good or bad about it, and how viable and sustainable it is as a platform at the moment.

The GRcade Twitchcast Episode 32 – We've Much Catching Up To

This week on your not quite weekly GRcade Twitchcast your hosts are Corazon de Leon, Pedz and lastly Victor Mildew.

In this episode why try to give a brief overview of the news and announcements ranging from the Xbox Game Reveal to the Newest Nintendo Partner Direct. The issue is that there is so much information at the moment we weren't able to talk about everything or slightly touched on a topic. we did talk a fair bit about Microsoft purchasing Zenimax Media and what that may entail with the companies and IPs that came with it.

We also talked about the Playstation 5 and the games revealed and if anyone was disappointed with the news that several of the games at launch will be cross-generation titles which also brought up the issues, well at least to us, on a digital-only console.

Microsoft's Xbox X-series was touched upon with thoughts on Halo Infinite along with whether we would like to purchase one or now.

Nintendo was talked about with Super Mario 3D All-Stars and a few other games were mentioned also.

The GRcade Twitchcast Episode 31 - PS5! Reveal Yourself to Us

This week on the GRcade Twitchcast your hosts are Jenuall, Corazon de Leon, Victor Mildew and Pedz.

The plan for this week was to catch up on all the news that has come about including the PS5 reveal, the Xbox Game Showcase, Paper Mario: The Origami King announcement and much more, but it's taken a little while to be able to get it done that things like Paper Mario is out.

Basically, all that was talked about this week was the PS5 reveal event. The Xbox Game Showcase will be discussed on Episode 32. Each game shown from the event has been slightly touched on, some more than others. During the discussion, Victor has to leave for his scheduled lavatory break.

The GRcade Twitchcast Episode 30 - Who Is Corazon De Leon?

This week's episode of the GRcade Twitchcast Corazon De Leon and Pedz as your hosts.

The Twitchcast this week is all about Cora. Pedz had written down a 'few' questions (some are the same that Doomspoon answered.) The questions, for the most part, revolve around Cora's life with games and while a few questions about other aspects of his life are asked they are trivial questions in general. The reason for this is to get to know more about Cora as a gamer. Maybe, just maybe we'll do this again, but with very different questions? Hopefully, that will happen with all who has taken part in the twitchcasts so far and in the future. There are questions from the chat and one came from Karl on the GRcade forum itself. The GRcade Twitchcast Episode 29 - Talking Games and #BLM!

On the GRcade Twitchcast this week we have Jenuall, Pedz and Victor Mildew hosting along with newcomer Corazon De Leon.

The first port of call is talking about some of the games that we have played and Cora starts with Resident Evil 6 chat and the chat revolves around how the game is, how it is compared to other Resident Evil Games and is it a good or bad game and some brief chat of the other games in the series.

Victor then talks about Assetto Corsa Competizione a Racing Game that is very much a sim and simulates the Blancpain GT3 Series and then Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition which is a game that a few people have played a little, or played the Wii version. The discussion here goes into the gameplay, music, the updated visuals and of course the voice acting.

Jenuall talks about briefly about Doom, the classic from the '90s and then he talks about Super Mario Maker 2 and the 'Are You A Master Mario Maker?' Jenuall talks about his experience with Mario Maker and how he;'s finding he AYAMMM? Competition.

Then, coming back to Cora he brings up Half-Life 2/The Orange Box and has recently played through Half-Life 2 and both episodes, having not really played them in the past. During this talk, Victor has to leave for his is 10 PM Dog Walking. Lastly, Wolfenstein is talked about.

The topics here shift from What we've played to what's happening in the news.

Well, first off there's the Sega Game Gear Micro. It's a tiny version of the Game Gear and doesn't really resonate with the hosts. Briefly touched upon is also Sega's Arcade Cloud service and a little chat about Arcade Games.

The last topic of conversion is the Black Lives Matter protests. The topic comes up due via Sony, Nintendo and Xbox showing support via Twitter, many things are brought up here including the question is it enough? This is a long conversation and is probably the most serious conversation that has been had on this podcast, even though this is a gaming podcast the guys personally felt that this was too big of a cause to not talking about it.

The GRcade Twitchcast Episode 28 - Catching Up and Checking In

This week the hosts of The GRcade Twitchcast are Doom Spoon, Pedz and Victor Mildew.

This is the first Twitchcast in a while and the idea was to have a shorter podcast and just have a catch-up.

The guys start off talking about Animal Crossing: New Horizons. What's discussed is how often they play it, if they've stopped, what he game is like for them, what hole it fills in their gaming life compared to other games and simply if they like it.

Moving on from Animal Crossing and the discussion turns to Half-Life: Alyx, where Victor explains how the gameplay and also lets us knows how thoughts about the game in how good it is, how he feels it would be without VR and just his general views on its general quality.

After that talk turns to puzzle games, where The Witness is briefly mentioned before it turns to chat about Picross S4 and the Picross series in general and how there are just certain games whether you like games or not that partners just seem to really enjoy playing together.

Talk turns a little more serious with some talk about the Corona Virus. The chat is more about how everyone is coping with the isolation or, having to work in a place where getting the virus could have some serious impacts. The guys say that there is a thread on GRcade that if you need to chat about the impact that the isolation on you mentally then you should absolutely go there and talk, talking can really help when emotions are running high or mental wellbeing is low, so please if you need to come and talk in the 'Depression, Anxiety, or other Mental Health Conditions' thread (t:depression?f=7) There are also helplines to call if you need to talk to somebody to help you through this time. a quick google search will bring up tons of results for your area and beyond.

The GRcade Twitchcast Episode 27 - Outbreaks, Cancellations

This week the hosts of The GRcade Twitchcast are Pedz and Victor Mildew.

In this latest episode of the GRcade TwitchcastVictor wanted to talk about the cancellation of GDC (Games Developer Conference) due to the Corona Virus (CoVid19) outbreak. Both muse over what other events and conferences could face the same fate.

Victor also talks about Half-Life 2 Episodes 1 and 2 in the run-up to Half-Life: Alyx. Describing how his views may or may not have changed after several years of not playing them.

Lastly, Pedz looks at some of the games upcoming this month and asks what Victor is interested in. Doom, Animal Crossing, Half-Life- Alyx are games that at least one of the two are interested in.

The GRcade Twitchcast Episode 26 - Looking Back! Looking Forward!

This week the hosts of The GRcade Twitchcast are Doom Spoon, Pedz and Victor Mildew.

In this latest episode of the GRcade Twitchcast Doom, Pedz and Victor talk about the last decade and what games stood out, or at least some they could remember.

On top of that, the gang talk about looking forward to the future, both 2020 and the coming decade. Victor again has to leave early, but, the Twitchcast continues with talk of game delays.

Nintendo are talked about again, as just before the Twitchcast happened this was both a Direct for Pokémon Sword and Shield and Super Smash Brothers Ultimate.
