The GRcade Podcast - Season 3: Episode 1

Stop the presses: Many congratulations from the GRcade Podcast team to Starquake for releasing Hyper Sentinel! GRcade is proud of you.

Karl introduces the new season of the GRcade Podcast. Alongside veteran guest Pedz, we hear from Kerr and Taf for the first time. Taf discusses Frostpunk, a psychologically impactful city-builder with arctic and steampunk themes. What does a game have to do to present an effective moral quandary? Kerr is a long-time X-COM fan and tells us why he's returned to the series. Pedz gets everyone angry about Nintendo's online services. Finally, we discuss E3 hype for RAGE 2 and Metroid Prime 4.

Hope you guys tune in for this! I think it's a really solid start to the season, so thanks to the three who joined me for this episode. From now on the podcast will be coming out roughly once a fortnight. We have a really diverse cast lined up, with a lot of different interests, so we should be able to offer a lot of variety on the show in the coming months.

As always, please comment & let us know what you think. All feedback welcome, even if you think it's a load of shite, let us know why!

The GRcade Podcast - #24 - Nintendo's Wild Odyssey

Nintendo are dooo-ing quite well for themselves?! Karl, Kris (aka Cuttooth), and Adam (aka Ad7) are back again to discuss how Nintendo's 2017 took them by surprise with two massive achievements in the form of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey on the little Android tablet that could. Is this Nintendo back to their best? Where can they go from here and what does 2018 hold for them? Can anyone actually name most of the Mario Odyssey Kingdoms?

The GRcade Podcast - #19 - Now For Something Sort Of Different

It's all change on The GRcade Podcast... sort of... Karl's back to head up a slightly different, more in-depth look at some topics we've had on our minds. Just how frustrating can competitive multiplayer games be? Can gaming with GRcade be less so? Or are we the real problem, when we decide there's nothing holding us back from taking over the world but ourselves...

Joining Karl this week are Pete (aka Pedz), Shanker (aka SD64), and Kris (aka Cuttooth).

0.55 - The Frustrations of Competitive Multiplayer: (Overwatch, Street Fighter V, Splatoon, Mario Kart 8, Rocket League, Counter Strike)

32:18 - Moral Dilemmas Being a Warbastard: (Civilisation VI, Spec Ops: The Line)

53:00 - Play Games With GRcade!

We also have new music to play us in this week. Let us know what you think:
